My
work pursues the ways we ignore and overlook common yet
unexplored spaces, unutilized hideouts embedded within place, time, and
sound.
Through a methodology of listening, I query what remains within thresholds, within the in-between of words and of sounds, remnants that reside within the liminal.
My art practice approaches this inquiry from different mediums, such as sound, text, installation or video performance. Through an interdisciplinary approach, I aim to listen, respond, interact, and expand the elements of the places we share and inhabit with different methodologies. To challenge and reimagine the meanings of our diverse languages, and reflect about our everyday relationships to each other as subjects to a mutual place.
